After years of camping and traveling in Alberta we decided to research a park of our own. We really weren't even sure what we were looking for. We either viewed websites or visited many parks and spoke to many hundreds of people in our search. After the first response from Sundre River Resort and then a subsequent visit to meet with them and take a tour, we knew this was what we were looking for.  Not only are the developer and on-site marketing team approachable, and professional, they are extremely nice individuals. From the very large lots to the walking trails this is truly a place where camping, relaxing and meeting new friends is to be had.

Let me share our journey from being frustrated campers to becoming the most proud owners of property at Sundre River Resort. For several years we and our children have been looking for a place – close to home – nice location - to park our trailer to enjoy during summer weekends. We travelled Alberta and even went so far as to put a deposit on a lot only to be told that according to their regulations our trailer was too old. I had pretty well given up and decided that camping was not for us.

Coming home on Big Springs Road in Airdrie, Blair spotted a sign indicating there were lots for sale at Sundre River Resort. The next day the four of us went to have a look and couldn’t wait to get back with a cheque to seal our dreams. It was everything we were looking for and more. Trees, river, view of the mountains, and huge (and I mean large) sites, with endless possibilities. The owners and staff are very friendly, fun and extremely helpful. Campfires on Saturday night with the gang are most fun and a wonderful way to get to know your ‘neighbors’.

We feel so very fortunate to have discovered SRR. Thanks Ryan, Wayne and Judy – you’re the best.

We found the prices so reasonable at SRR that we are now the proud owners of a new fifth wheel!!!!!

We bought our lot this July and are totally impressed; we feel like family! The future development of this wonderful resort will be amazing; actually it already is. Our family and friends are impressed and love it here.

The scenery and walking paths along Bearberry Creek is peaceful and beautiful, a painting inspiration!

We feel safe, truly welcome and have met wonderful new friends here…. our home away from home.

The owners, sales team, management and staff are very dedicated and hard working, they go beyond the call of duty to make your experience and time here exceptional.

For the past three camping seasons my husband has been looking for a permanent spot to place our trailer, I put this on his honey-do-list.  Well wasn’t I surprised to see our wonderful lot that my husband picked out.  The first time that I got to see the lot was May 2014, and I really couldn’t believe my eyes.  When my husband informed me that we would be dry camping before services arrived I had visions of a grassy area where everyone just parked their units.  Wow, we drove into the resort and I was a Happy Camper.  Big lots, beautiful scenery, future developments that will be incredible, what more could a girl ask for!!!  Oh yes I forgot to mention fantastic owners, staff and great neighbors.  Thanks Ryan, Judy and Wayne for all of your assistance.  We have shared our experience with numerous family and friends; all were impressed with the Resort.  My husband will be in the good books for a very long time with this decision; I just wish he had made it last year!! Lol

Excited to be a part of a new Development such as Sundre River Resort. We were recommended by a friend when we had mentioned we were looking for a place to park our trailer full time. Too much of a nuisance to get it loaded up every time we want to go somewhere and then no place to camp because they are all Full!

We visited Sundre River Resort after talking to Ryan and Judy. We drove in and around and said Yep this is the one for us! As realtors we felt this is an excellent investment and have not regretted our decision at all.

Since then we have met the most wonderful folks and enjoyed many weekends and weekdays out at the Resort. We just load up the truck with a few groceries and away we go. Ryan, Judy and Wayne have been extremely helpful and caring. Not often do you find such a warm welcome as we have received here.

We’ve told all our friends and relatives about it as well. "Looking forward to spending lots more quality time here with Family and Friends and that is what it is all about!!"
